My Chinese Results. My chinese results. I got my chinese results back today. It was just pure scary, especially when the teacher suddenly said that the results will be released in the afternoon. My heart just skipped like ten beats lah! But luckily the teacher was just joking. So everyone was just sitted in the classroom and just chatting until another chinese teacher came to my classroom and screamed, "Class, go to the hall NOW". I was like, "SHIT". I clearly remember (obviously, coz it only happened in the morning) it was about 9.20a.m. Everyone entered the hall and sit in single file. Then everything began with the vice principal talking about percentage passes and distinctions (it really didn't help when she showed us the percentage distinction being only 11.26%), and then another teacher talking about re-taking the exam. He was speaking so freaking slowly, i felt like i could die waiting. When he finally said, "The results will be released now", everyone in the hall went "aww/shit/crap/huh/damn/die". After arranging us to sit according to register number, i realised i was one of the last to take the chinese results. It was damn frightening, especially when you see faces of disappointment. It's like, someone with very very good chinese ends up with an A2 and then i'll start thinking, will i really get that A1? Am i up to scratch?. At the same time, i also can't and don't want to re-take the exam. It was so pressurizing at that moment i even started crying before i could receive my results. Then one by one got their results and finally, it was my turn. I went up to the teacher with unclosed water taps and then the teacher was like," wow, you don't need to re-take the exam already" and i went "huhh?", and my teacher was like "you got an A1". Hmm, that feeling was really sweet. I kept double checking to check if i was dreaming or not. But hm, i got the A1!! My best friends went like " congrats ah val!" Words just cannot describe how i felt at that moment. Hahaa. Another good news to share is that, all my best girl friends have achieved very good results too! Great job girl friends! <3 #Woohoooooo! |
